Leslie's Story So Far

Leslie was born and raised in the Philippines in under unusual  or beyond ordinary upbringing and circumstances. She credits a lot of her confidence, determination and achievements to her parental figures including some of her teachers or professors. They all deserve even more credit since it turns out, she has had ADHD all along.

In 2013 she moved to Australia for love and as she would say 'YOLO' (You only live once.). Childhood and relationship histories were not a walk in the park especially with her then unknown mental health/neurological conditions. (ADHD, Narcolepsy & EID).

Despite all that she manages to survive and thrive. She is determined to serve society with her random set of talents, skills, knowledge and her passion.

🌱She is equipped with multiple qualifications such as:

- A Degree in Education

-An Accredited Certification in Mindfulness Practice

-An Accredited Certification in Sound & Music Therapy

-Training in Professional Counselling

-A  Diploma in Early Childhood Education

-A Diploma of School-age Education and Care

-A Training and Assessment Qualification (Adult Education)

-She is currently enrolled in Creative Arts and Health studies with The University of Tasmania which is accredited with The Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA) is the peak professional body that represents creative arts therapists in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia/Pacific region.

All of which, along with her personal and professional experience paves the way for her to serve in providing a sanctuary for the hearts, hands and minds of those who struggle but wish to grow.🌱✨

When she's not occupied with humanitarian and entrepreneurial adventures, she's most likely having a nap, singing, dancing, doing an art project or falling deeply into a Googling rabbit hole.🐰
